A College Born From
Community Purpose
Swami Vivekanand Mahavidyalaya was established in 2009 by the Sriram Shiksha Prasar Evam Gramin Vikas Samajothan Samiti with a singular vision: to make quality teacher education a reality for communities in and around Panna, Madhya Pradesh. Named after the great educator-philosopher Swami Vivekananda, our institution carries forward his belief that education is the manifestation of perfection already in man.
Since our founding, we have grown from a single program to a multi-disciplinary institution offering B.Ed., D.El.Ed., B.A.B.Ed., D.Ed. (Special), and ITI vocational courses — all recognized by NCTE and affiliated to Maharaja Chhatrasal Bundelkhand University (MCBU).
